A native of Germany, Antje Géczy brings to her work the sophisticated colours, clean lines, and elegant functionalism of her country.
Being driven since very early age by fashion and fine jewellery Antje moved to Paris at the age 19 to study and perfect her design skills at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale. Hired by Christian Lacroix to work as an assistant at the newly formed Haute Couture house she soon developed an eye for attention to detail, craft and a love of subtle luxury.
Later at CHANEL where Antje was hired to work for Karl Lagerfeld at the Haute Couture and Ready to wear studio she focused more on the accessories that soon evolved into a passion for Fine Jewellery Design.
Antje complemented her skills as a Jewellery Designer with training at the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) to acquire the technical knowledge necessary to make jewellery.
Antje has presented jewellery pieces at the catwalk shows for Nina Ricci in Paris and Mr Nils in Florence. She has also presented her own collections at galleries such as David Gill and Tyger Glyn in London and Karry’O in Paris.
